Hi, I’m Callista, an artist from Southern California, working in portraiture and storyboarding. My hands find their way through watercolor, acrylics, and ink, while my digital work flows in the medium of Procreate.

In my portraits, I seek the quiet exchange that takes place in the meeting of eyes—a moment where words are unnecessary, and a deeper truth is shared. Especially with those who cannot speak, there is a silent understanding, a recognition of life that transcends language and speaks directly to the heart of what it means to truly see and be seen.

When I’m not creating, you’ll find me wandering the worlds of SciFi and fantasy, finding kinship with animals, or immersed in a PC game. In all of these, I’m drawn to the same thread: the connection that ties us to one another, whether through art, stories, or simple moments of being.
